There are some new faces to the management team of Family First Athletic Club. Two of the newest members of the team that might be familiar to many of you are Matt and Anthony Pribonic — the sons of our former manager, Carol Taylor, who have both made a name for themselves in the fitness industry both here in Erie and in Florida. Anthony is a business management major at Gannon
while Matt is a successful personal training studio owner who has decided to return to his roots in Erie.
Matt Pribonic
Matt Pribonic was born in Erie Pa. He attended McDowell High and graduated in 2001. Matt was a 4 year letter recepient for McDowell Varsity Baseball. During his high school athletic carreer, matt was awarded the city’s all metro award 4 years straight and earned a full athletic scholarship to Owens College Toledo Ohio.
Following his second year of college at Mercyhurst, he relocated to Ft. Lauderdale Florida and began as a personal trainer at the Shaquile Oneile 24 Hour Fitness Sport Club.
Matt became an Elite personal trainer with the company a year later then moved on to help develop one of the most well known 1on1 fitness facilities in the area.
Matt lived and worked in Ft. Lauderdale just over 7 years and has helped over 500 clients achieve a better quality of life. Matt is experienced in 1on 1 fitness training, indoor and outdoor boot camps, in home training, aerobics, spinning and nutritional guidance.

Anthony Pribonic
Anthony Pribonic was born in Erie PA. At a young age Anthony was introduced to the health and wellness industry by his mother Carol Pribonic Taylor who is a certified personal trainer, aerobics instructor, and former manager of the Family First Fitness Center.
Anthony Pribonic graduated from McDowell High School in 2007. He lettered all four years as a baseball player. Anthony was awarded Firs Team all State his senior year and was also awarded three individual team batting records. Anthony currently attends Gannon University as a Business Administration Major, with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Biology.
Anthony has a extensive background in sports specific, core, and also speed and agility training. He is a certified personal trainer with five years experience, four years experience with group and team training and also has experience in in-home training.
