Internship: Sales

Position Description: The intern will assist the Group Sales Director with a variety of functions, including: touring prospective groups, phone contacts, corporate outreach and general client relations.

Qualifications: The applicant should preferably be majoring in marketing/sales or any related fields with strong communication and people skills.

Position Description: Interns will assist in the administration and supervision of the Fun Center, Golf Dome, Arcade and Party Zone. He/she will also assist with daily promotions, group events, operations, creating databases and assist management with opening and closing procedures.
Hrs./Wk.: Part Time and Full Time & must be available every day of the week
Qualifications: Current college student, knowledge of Microsoft Office (word and excel), great communication and customer service skills, self motivated and independent work skills.

Position Description: The intern will assist the marketing department with a variety of functions, including: research regarding potential business clients, writing press releases, assisting in the operation and activation of promotions- from brainstorming ideas to finalizing details, compiling reports of data review regarding demographics and trends of contest respondents, stocking on-site advertising materials, distributing marketing colaterol to hotels and restaurants and completing inventory of on-site signage and visibility.

Qualifications: The applicant should preferably be majoring in Communications or any related fields with strong writing and people skills.
Internship: Sport Management/Soccer

Position Description: The intern will assist in the administration and supervision of indoor and outdoor soccer leagues. He/she will also assist in the general operation of the 200 plus team soccer tournaments held throughout the summer (Continental Alliance Cup and Erie Admirals Flagship Cup). The position will include some coaching and refereeing during programming as well.

Qualifications: Applicants should have a sport management/physical education background along with high school or college playing experience. Camp coaching and youth coaching experience is a plus. The intern must also have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word and excel) and MS Works.

Position Description: The intern position will include officiating and coaching during programming. The intern will also make phone calls leading up to leagues and camps and perform tasks on the computer. Various administrative work in dealing with the Park programming is involved in this position.

Qualifications: Applicant must have high school or college playing experience or previous head coaching experience (junior high or high school level). In addition, the intern must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word and excel) and MS Works. Any certifications, including CPR and PIAA basketball official would be a plus.

Position Description: The intern’s duties will include supervision of the fitness center (opening/closing), fitness program setup and upgrade for members of all ages and fitness levels, equipment maintenance, various administrative duties and leading dynamic, effective group exercise classes.

Qualifications: Applicant must have an exercise science and/or physical education background. Customer service skills are a must, and CPR certification is required. Person training and class instruction certification is a plus.

Position Description: Fast-paced position includes everything from creating newspaper advertisements to updating the Web. Family First Sports Park has an award-winning marketing department.
Hrs./Wk.: 40 hrs./wk.
Qualifications: Must have clear, concise writing. Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, along with knowledge of layout design, are REQUIRED. Since the intern may have several projects at one time, he/she must also be hard working, dependable and organized.

Position Description: The intern will perform administration duties dealing with a variety of camps and retreats coming into the Park. The intern will be responsible for entering and maintaining registrations before camp week and will work with the director of housing in reviewing and overseeing all groups staying in the housing center throughout the camping season. The position also includes front desk management in the housing center including phone calls, camper mail, etc.
Hrs./Wk.: 40 hrs./wk. (part-time positions also available)
Qualifications: Must have excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to treat everyone in a kind and courteous manner. Microsoft and computer skills would be great, but not necessary.
Internship: Institutional Culinary Management
Availability: All Year Round

Position Description: Interns will learn menu building, basic menu preparation, the ordering of goods, proper rotation and safe handling of food products. Individuals will not only be shown the before mentioned, but will also be expected and required to use them as they will become part of his/her daily routine. Individuals with a Culinary Art major will also help in the preparation of meals.
Hrs./Wk.: 40+ hrs./wk. & must be available seven days a week
Qualifications: Positions are available for assistant managers and crew leaders. Some experience in the field is preferred for those individuals seeking the assistant manager’s position. Sanitation certification and computer skills are also a plus for any of the positions. Positions are open to any hotel, restaurant, institutional management and culinary arts majors.
