The NIKE Girls Basketball Camps would like to make aware to you and your players of an affordable opportunity to improve skills and meet other talented athletes. Designed for every level of basketball player, from beginner learning the fundamentals, to high school players looking to move up or make the transition to college - the NIKE Girls Basketball Camp focus is improvement and fun!Bo Kuntz, Head Coach at Mercy hurst College, will direct this program. Entering his third season at the helm, Coach Kuntz has the Laker Basketball Program headed in the right direction. Prior to Mercyhurst, Bo worked as the associate head women's basketball coach at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) for the last five years. While at IUP, Kuntz helped the Indians post a 91-48 record. The Indians qualified for the NCAA Division II playoffs twice, including an East Region title and a berth in the Elite Eight at the end of the 1998-99 season.
We are proud to announce that at this camp a special guest speaker will be Angie Pottoff. A local product from Mercyhurst Prep, Angie is no stranger to Erie, PA. After leading Mercyhurst Prep to the PIAA class AAA State title in 1992, Angie went on to star at Penn State University where she earned first team All-Big Ten Honors three years in a row. She still ranks in the top five in several statistical categories. Angie has spent the last two years on the coaching staff at Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA.
