Classes are divided into four successive levels: Cubs, Koalas, Pandas and Polars. A parent may be on the court with the child for the the Cubs class, while all other classes will just be the child and an instructor. Each class level will build on skills learned in previous classes. Classes are held once per week and are approximately 45-60 minutes long. Each session is 7 weeks in length. Classes are offered Monday or Wednesday evenings.

Cubs (Parent/Child class – 45min.) – The Cubs class is recommended for first time participants at the youngest ages. This class will include basic dribbling, shooting, rebounding and passing activities with the parent involved. Basic motor skills are the focus. Classes are held Mondays or Wednesdays: 5:30-6:30pm.

Koalas (Beginner – 45min.) – The Koalas class is recommended for children to participate for the first time on their own. Basic ability to listen and follow directions is a must. This class will use similar activities to the Cubs class, but without the help of Mom or Dad. Classes are held Mondays or Wednesdays: 5:30-6:30pm.

Pandas (Intermediate – 60min.) – The Pandas class is recommended for those who have a strong desire to do things on their own. Classes will focus more on coordination, balance, imaginative play and cooperation. More basketball-related activities will be taught at this level. Classes are held Mondays or Wednesdays: 5:30-6:30pm.

Polars (Advanced – 60min.) – The Polars class is recommended for the older children who have completed the other classes or have some basketball experience. More time will be spent on dribbling, shooting, defensive and other basketball skills. These children will need to have a longer attention span and the willingness to cooperate with others. Classes are held Mondays or Wednesdays: 5:30-6:30pm.

Classes may be combined if needed. This would be based on number of participants within each class. All classes are limited to 14 participants.
