NATIONAL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
HUGE SUCCESS
The 2001 National Christian High School Invitational Basketball Tournament was a huge success, and many firsts occur throughout the weekend. The stage is now set for a tremendous tournament in 2002 which is expected to be full by late November.
The 2001 version was the first time we were able to offer three divisions for the boys and two for the girls. It was also the first time teams were turned away from the tournament when we reached our maximum capacity of 40 teams. Both of these instances will be common place for the future of this tournament with teams already registering for 2002.
This year’s event was also the first time skills contests were offered, including a three-point contest, 2Ball Contest, and Slam Dunk Contest. These events were highly anticipated and they lived up to everyone’s expectations.
The event which began with the arrival of teams on Wednesday evening concluded on Saturday night with the awards ceremony following the final championship games. Listed below are the final team placements as well as the all-tournament team selections and skills contests champions.
As stated earlier the 2002 National Invitational has already received a good amount of interest from new schools looking to participate. The 2002 National Invitational will be held March 7-9, 2002.

With our Thanksgiving Tip-Off Tournament in November and our National Christian High School Invitational in March, we have you covered from start to finish. Both events will provide you with an atmosphere of intense competition, spirited sportsmanship and sincere fellowship. What better way to prepare your team for the season ahead and put an exclamation point on a season of hard work and sacrifice.

Where else can you bring your boys and girls varsity teams, cheerleaders, parents and fans and all stay in the same, air-conditioned housing complex located just 50 feet from our state-of-the-art basketball complex. All games will be played on one of our four hardwood floors. This is a “one-of-a-kind” tournament experience you won’t want to miss. Housing Accommodations
If you are going to play in a state-of-the-art complex, you should relax in one as well. All teams have the option to stay in our Housing and Conference Center. This complex, located just 50 feet from the basketball center, features a 420-person dining hall, 116 rooms and a large clubhouse that has everything from arcade games to pool tables and much more. In addition, guests can relax in one of our two separate TV lounges containing big-screen televisions.

Entry Fee:
$165 for one team or $280 both boys and girls varsity
Play Begins:
Thursday, March 7 at 1 p.m. (Reasonable
accommodations will be made for teams traveling long distances.)
Number of Games: Three-game guarantee—pool play
format followed by seeded tournament.
Housing Package: $78 per Person—includes three-night stay (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) and eight, all-you-can-eat meals—dinner Thursday; breakfast, lunch & dinner Friday & Saturday; breakfast on Sunday
(Early arrivals on Wednesday are available for teams traveling from out of town.)

Tournament Format:
This is your chance to enroll your team in two of the premier Christian High School Tournaments in the country! Professionally staffed and organized, both events will challenge your team on and off the floor. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games all officiated by PIAA certified varsity officials. Team awards will be distributed to the top three finishers in each division along with individual awards for the All-Tournament Team Members.
