Mid-Atlantic Player Showcase

Get your game on against the best!
The Mid-Atlantic Players Showcase is designed to provide players as much time on the floor as possible in front of coaches from colleges throughout the region. Players will check-in from 8:00 to 8:45 AM on Saturday with the first games beginning at 9:00 AM. Each player will be placed on a team and will be instructed by a high school coach from the local area. Each team will play 3 forty minute games with team members receiving equal amounts of playing time.
Each college coach in attendance will receive an informational packet containing biographical information on each player. The numbered jerseys provided to each participant will enable coaches to distinguish players and the packets will provide the coaches with ways to contact each player through their high school coach. All information and results will also be made available to scouting services throughout the region.
Make it happen! The importance of exposure cannot be underestimated when it comes to earning an athletic scholarship at the college level. The Mid Atlantic High School Basketball Showcase is dedicated to providing the boys and girls of Western PA, Eastern OH, and South West NY the opportunity to showcase their basketball skills in front of prominent Division II, and III College Coaches.
Since its inception five years ago Family First Sports Park Basketball has made it a mission to provide first class facilities and programming to the athletes in the tri-state area. The Mid Atlantic Player Showcase is just another way for the athletes in our region to improve their game against the best competition available and possibly attract the attention of college coaches and earn an athletic scholarship.
The Player Showcase Highlights:
•A numbered reversible jersey
•A minimum of three forty minute games (players will be rotated every 5 minutes)
•The opportunity to be coached by some of the finest high school coaches in the region
•Exposure to college coaches at the Division II, and III levels
•The opportunity to compete against the best competition in the tri-state area
•All games will be played at Family First Sports Park on one of our four hardwood floors.
•Results of the showcase and player profiles will be posted on the Sports Park’s official website
We have partnered with the National Scouting Report (NSR) to provide yet another avenue for student-athletes to be recognized by college coaches across the country. The NSR will add each Showcase participant to its player database distributed to colleges and universities throughout the country.
The NSR will also conduct speed and agility tests for each participant. This not only gives a college coach some insight into your athletic ability, but also gives you a bench mark to measure your progress from year to year.

Certified trainers will be on-site throughout the showcase to tape players or attend to injuries.
•Players are invited to an educational session on the recruiting process and NCAA rules and regulations.
•On-site lodging is available in the Sports Park’s Team Housing Center. This state of the art facility is fully air-conditioned and features two big screen TV lounges with digital satellite programming as well as a full service cafeteria and game room..
